New Heatwave Forecast
Wednesday, August 19 – Meteorologists warn that a new heatwave is forecast to affect the country in the coming days as hot air masses move northward from Africa.
Temperatures will start to rise from tomorrow, Thursday, reaching the high 30s in many parts of the country by the weekend.
According to the current forecast, during the weekend and early next week, local temperatures around 40°C are expected in some mainland areas of the country.
The high temperatures are expected to affect a large part of Greece and will persist for several days.
