The Greek Air Traffic Controllers Association has called on its members to join a four-hour work stoppage on Thursday, August 28, from 09:30 to 13:30. The industrial action is in support of and during a 24-hour strike by ADEDY, the main Greek civil servants’ trade union.

The Air Traffic Controllers’ action will affect all flights in and out of Greece except for emergency, hospital, and military flights during the action.

Update – August 27, 10:00 – The four-hour work stoppage by the Greek Air Traffic Controllers Association to be held on Thursday, August 28, has been declared illegal by the courts. Therefore, scheduled flights across Greece will not be affected.
