The village of Embonas is to hold its 65th Wine and Music Festival over two days.

On Friday, August 30, the orchestra of Stelios Vamvakas will perform, with traditional dancing from the children of the Embona Cultural Association.

On Saturday, August 31, the orchestra of Stelios Vamvakas will fill the air with music and traditional dancing will be performed by the children of the Embona Cultural Association accompanied by the orchestra of Vangelis Xepapadakis and Telis Hatzifoundas.

The Festival start times on both nights are 21:00.

All are welcome and attendance is free.

The hillside village of Embonas is situated on the west of the island and is 50 km south of Rhodes Town. Embonas has beautiful views over the many vineyards and is the centre of wine production on Rhodes, with several wineries open for tastings.
