Taxi owners on the island of Rhodes announced their intention to go on strike on Monday, March 23, starting at 05:00, joining the nationwide protests against the Ministry of Transport’s bill being voted on by the Greek parliament on Monday.

Taxi owners object to the bill, stating that it constitutes a blatant attack on the taxi profession and the ability of taxi owners to achieve a viable income.
