Santorini Airport Closed

Tuesday, January 13 – Santorini Airport closed yesterday to allow for renovation and reconstruction work on the runways, which Fraport Greece, the company responsible for managing the country’s 14 regional airports, had planned since last summer. The airport will be closed to all commercial traffic until January 19.

During the remedial work, emergency flights, such as medical air evacuations or firefighting, will be conducted by helicopters.
