Wednesday, March 18 – The Kavala Port Authority has issued a warning of gale-force winds forecast to affect the wider area of the Thracian Sea tomorrow.

The northerly winds are expected to reach 7 – 8 Beaufort and will continue until at least Thursday.

Ships in the area are advised to take the appropriate safety measures.

Ferry sailings between the island of Thassos and the mainland will likely be affected.
