The Cultural Association of the village of Megalochori, located 7 km south of Fira in the southwest of the island, will be staging a reenactment of a traditional island wedding.

The event will take place in the village square on Saturday, August 24, starting at 20:00.

The ‘wedding ceremony’ will include all the aspects of a real traditional wedding including the wedding feast with wine, music, dance and song.

All are welcome and is free to attend.
