Greek civil protection authorities have advised that a further wave of severe weather from the storm system ‘Adel’ is expected in the coming hours.

The areas in the north of the country that are at risk, announced by the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, include Eastern Macedonia, Thrace, the Eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese.

Further heavy rain, hail, strong winds and thunderstorms are forecast.

The public is advised to be aware of the threat and prepare accordingly.
