The Cultural Club of Apollona are holding the 3rd Traditional Feast & Festival in the village of Apollona on Saturday, August 16.

Entertainment will include music by the renowned Telis Hatzifountas music group, and will, for a third year, reward those attending with an evening of tradition, music, food, drink and fun.

The festival starts at 20:30 and is free to attend.

All are welcome.

The village of Apollona, one of the traditional gems of Rhodes, is situated in the central highlands, 43 km south of Rhodes Town.

Apollona sits on a hillside surrounded by olive groves. The Apollona Folklore Museum has exhibits including local embroidery, traditional clothing, and antique olive presses. A couple of wineries are open for tours and tastings, and stores sell local olive oils, honeys, and soaps.
