The Feast of Agios Panteleimon is celebrated on July 27th in a number of villages on the island, but primarily in the villages of Kazaviti and at the Saint’s Monastery situated above the villages.

Agios Panteleimon is a significant religious festival, especially in Greece and other Orthodox Christian communities, honouring the life and martyrdom of the saint, a physician and healer.

The celebrations often include feasts, music, and dancing, with many attending festivals at the monasteries and churches dedicated to the saint.
