Meteorologists are confirming that temperatures will continue to rise across Greece, achieving highs for this early in the season of mid to high 30s Celsius.

Below are the forecasts for the regions we cover with our guides.

Macedonia and Thrace (Thassos)

Generally clear with a few temporary clouds in the midday to afternoon hours, when local showers are likely to occur in the mountainous areas, mainly in central Macedonia.

Winds: Variable 3 and in the east temporarily from easterly directions to 4 Beaufort.

Temperature: From 18 to 34 to 35 and locally 36 degrees Celsius. In Western Macedonia 2 to 3 degrees lower.

Dodecanese islands (Rhodes and Kos)

Generally clear.

Winds: North northwest 4 to 6 Beaufort.

Temperature: From 20 to 33 and locally 34 degrees Celsius.

Cyclades (Santorini)

Generally clear.

Winds: North northwest 4 to 6 Beaufort.

Temperature: From 20 to 31 to 32 degrees Celsius, in the Cyclades, 2 to 3 degrees lower.
