The village of Dimilia will hold its 17th Walnut Festival on Sunday, October 5. The picturesque village is located in the central highlands at the foot of Mount Profitis Elias, 33 km southwest of Rhodes Town.

The festival starts at 13:30 and continues all afternoon and evening with traditional dancing at 17:30, as well as live music with the orchestra of Nektarios Konstantakis, with Manolis Mavroudis on violin and Dimitris Kougras on vocals.

All will be offered sweet and honey-flavoured treats.

The festival is free to attend, and food and drink will be available.
