Wednesday, January 28 – The Greek National Meteorological Service has issued an emergency weather bulletin due to a further period of storms, heavy rain and high winds that will start to affect the country from tomorrow, Thursday, January 29.

The worst of the weather in Thrace and the islands of the northern and eastern Aegean is expected tomorrow from the afternoon until late at night.

The system will also be accompanied by southerly to southwesterly winds, which will reach 7 to 8 Beaufort in the marine areas, making sea travel difficult in places.
