Friday, November 7, will be the annual International Plastic Clever Schools Day of Action, which aims to mobilise educational communities across the world against plastic waste. The event is led by Common Seas, is endorsed by the UN’s Ocean Decade, and aims to build a community of youth-led action against plastic waste. 

A full program of classroom activities and workshops with the aim that schools reduce single-use plastics and launch their action plans to reduce plastic use in their school and community.

Schools of all levels across Greece are invited to join with schools from around the world and participate in a day of activities on the topic of plastic pollution.

Last year, more than 400 schools from 27 countries around the world participated in the action day.
