Manufacturer’s perfume and aftershave bottles tend to be large, heavy and made of glass, so when travelling, a great idea is to decant enough of your favourite fragrance into a lightweight, small and sturdy container. This not only prevents the accidental breakage of an expensive perfume bottle in transit but also leaks in your luggage.

We chose the Selcouth atomiser, which is made of light sturdy aluminium and designed to be leak-proof, but large enough to hold plenty of your favourite fragrance for your holiday.

The atomiser is easy to fill, you just take off the spray nozzle on your original perfume bottle and press the bottom of the atomiser onto the bottle’s exposed plastic tube. Perfume will then be transferred into the atomiser (the same principle as filling a gas lighter).

The atomiser contains 5ml of liquid and is 2.95 x 0.67 inches, is available in pink and silver and costs £3.98 + p&p.

We have tested the product and although simple in design, it works well and is a useful addition to your packing list.
