Due to an increase in early tourism, the Greek Minister of Culture has confirmed that a number of major archaeological sites will be extending their opening hours.

On Rhodes, the Palace of the Grand Master and the Acropolis of Lindos will both be open from 08:00, with the Palace closing at 20:00 and the Acropolis at various times during the tourist season.

Most of the archaeological sites and museums around the country will also now operate from 08:00 until 20:00.

Please note: Although major archaeological sites and museums tend to be open 7 days a week, most lesser sites close on Tuesdays.
