The weather is forecast to deteriorate from today, Sunday, January 25, with heavy rain at times and thunderstorms in the north of the country tomorrow.

Winds will be strong and blow from the south; however, temperatures will rise slightly, reaching 16°C in the north and 20°C in the south.

The weather will become more settled from Wednesday.

Update Monday, January 26, 14:50 – An urgent warning has gone out to the inhabitants of Thassos advising travelling only when necessary, due to the existing severe weather conditions, including gale-force winds, torrential rain and thunderstorms.
