Monday, August 4 – A wildfire broke out this afternoon in north-west Rhodes between the villages of Soroni and Theologos.

According to the Rhodes fire service, the wildfire is burning in a forested area and currently does not threaten any homes.

The fire service has deployed 52 firefighters to the area, while three firefighting aircraft and one helicopter are engaged in fighting the fire.
