The package will allow you to explore the modern and historic areas of the city of Kavala and visit such attractions as the famous archaeological site of Philippi, or the beautiful Nestos Valley nature reserve as well as being pampered during your stay in this luxury hotel.

A suggested itinerary:-

Day 1 – a.m. Ferry to Kavala from Skala Prinos on Thassos. Register at the hotel & drop off your luggage. Visit the famous archaeological site of Philippi, situated just outside Kavala.

p.m. Return to the hotel and enjoy a tasty bar lunch. Relax and enjoy the pool & jacuzzi, followed by aperitifs on your balcony and then dinner in the ‘Erato’ roof garden. Then, how about a walk into the city to enjoy Kavala’s nightlife?

Day 2 – a.m. Breakfast is followed by a visit to Kavala Castle, the old Turkish quarter, the ancient aqueduct and the archaeological museum in Kavala.

p.m. Take lunch in the city near the marina, followed by shopping in the modern city quarter. Afterwards, relax with aperitifs on your balcony and then dinner in the ‘Erato’ roof garden. After-dinner drinks and coffee in the roof garden & watch the sunset over the Gulf of Kavala.

Thank you so much for the Kavala special offer. The hotel was wonderful with the staff pampering us during our stay and Wow what a view. It felt like a holiday within a holiday and all for just £80 each! As suggested we visited Philippi by bus (stopping straight outside the hotel) and the Turkish quarter of Kavala was fascinating. On the last morning, I relaxed on the terrace with a drink, whilst Helen took advantage of the Spa and came back looking like a new woman! :-) We can’t wait to return to your beautiful island.
