Folklore Museum of Limenaria
The Palataki, once the mining headquarters and warehouses of the Speidel Mining Company, is the venue for the Folklore Museum of Limenaria.
The museum, located in the old mining warehouses, has a wealth of cultural artefacts and demonstrations, such as the weaving workshop.
The Palataki, also known as Castle Speidel, sits upon the bluff overlooking the harbour in the town.
The museum is open 7 days a week from 18:00 to 21:00.
All are invited for a walk through the cultural history of the island.
Admission is free, and visitors are offered a free glass of homemade liqueur.
