The Port of Rhodes will see a total of 410 cruise ships dock at the island’s port by the end of this year, compared to 357 in 2023. October saw the highest number in a single month, with 60 scheduled arrivals.

However, not only has the number of arrivals increased, but so has the size of ships, some carrying up to 4,000 passengers, meaning a much larger number of people disembarking into the City of Rhodes, which includes the walled medieval town, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Reports indicate that the number of cruise ship arrivals in 2025 will increase further.
