If you are worried about leaving bags unattended while on holiday, such as on the beach, one answer is a luggage travel lock. These locks are easy to use and light to carry.

These usually consist of a steel cord, with a combination lock. You simply pass the cord through your bag handles and round a suitable object, for example on the beach, a lounger, or a secured sun umbrella and click the end into the lock. Opportunist thieves would find it difficult to run away with your bag whilst dragging a lounger!
