The new tourist train will enter service on Friday, May 1, in Rhodes Town.

The train’s route will start and end at the Aktaion in Rhodes Town, opposite the marina. From May 1 to May 3, the routes will operate every hour, starting at 10:00 in the morning and ending at 17:00.

From May 4 through the tourist season, the routes operate hourly, with the last departure at 19:00, extending service hours for the public. The new train, which replaces the previous one that was withdrawn due to wear and tear, was built in 2024 and received by the Municipality of Rhodes at the end of 2025.

It is a modern vehicle with three carriages and a total capacity of 60 passengers, and it is equipped with a sound system for guided tours and music during the journey.
