Temperatures and Winds Increasing
Sunday, August 9 – Next week’s weather will be dominated by increasing temperatures and strong winds.
In the north, temperatures will rise during the week to peak in the mid to high 30s Celsius, with wind speeds increasing to 7 to 8 on the Beaufort scale; thunderstorms could be triggered in the late afternoons, especially in mountainous regions.
Days will start with generally clear weather, but from noon clouds will tend to thicken, increasing the potential for showers.
