Weather instability followed by a Rise in Temperature
Thursday, September 3 – For today, temperatures will continue in the mid to high 30s, but with increased instability that could bring localised storms.
However, temperatures are forecast to drop, especially on Friday and Saturday, September 4/5, as northerly winds are expected to strengthen further in the east and in the Aegean, becoming storm force in some areas.
Based on the data so far, the drop in temperature appears to be temporary, as from September 6 onwards, warmer air masses are expected to move into Greece, with the mercury once again rising into the mid to high 30s Celsius.
From September 10, Autumnal weather is expected to become the dominant feature across the country.
