Weather instability followed by a Rise in Temperature
Sunday, August 30 – The weather for the early part of next week is characterised by temperatures in the mid to high 30s and instability in the weather leading to localised storms.
However, from Thursday the forecast is for a drop in temperatures, especially on Friday and Saturday, September 4/5, as the northerly winds are expected to strengthen further in the east and in the Aegean, becoming storm force in some areas.
Based on the data so far, the drop in temperature appears to be temporary, as from September 6 onwards, warmer air masses are expected to move into Greece, with the mercury once again rising into the high 30s Celsius.
