Cold Weather for the Beginning of May

Saturday, May 2 – Temperatures across Greece are low for the time of year, with conditions more reminiscent of autumn, as rain, increased clouds and strong northerly winds affect a large part of the country.

Maximum temperatures today range between 14 and 17°C in most regions, with even lower temperatures in parts of the Aegean Sea where strong northerly winds are blowing.

Southern Crete and the Dodecanese are experiencing warmer air masses that are maintaining the temperature at 22 to 23°C.

Monday will see an improvement in the weather, with weaker winds, fewer showers, and temperatures rising to the low to mid-20s across the country. Tuesday should see temperatures rising further into the high-20s.
