Disruptive Airline Passengers

At present, abusive or rowdy passengers on a UK airline flight can be banned by that airline for life, but could still book flights with other airlines.

Under a new government proposal, airlines will be able to share information through a national database about disruptive passengers and potentially prevent them from flying with other airlines.

Officials from the government will meet with airlines this month to discuss how the proposal could be implemented and enforced.
