There are many beautiful beaches to be found on Thassos, including Golden Beach, Paradise, Astris and Pachis Beaches, but a lesser-known beach is Fari Beach on the island’s southwest coast, just south of Skala Maries, a picturesque little fishing harbour.

But note, because of its get-away-from-it-all charm, the beach is not serviced, so you need to take a picnic with you, or refresh yourselves at one of the many tavernas that line the harbour at Skala Maries.
