The Municipal Council of Thassos will be reinstalling Seatrac mobility aids on the main beach in Limenas (Thassos Town), Skala Prinos and Trypiti for this coming tourist season.

Seatrac allows people with disabilities and mobility problems to enter the sea autonomously and acts as an incentive for disabled people to visit beaches, socialize and have fun. It is also a helpful tool for families and caregivers of disabled people to enjoy the sea more easily with their loved ones.

In early 2026, a grant was approved by the Ministry of Tourism for a Seatrac also to be installed at Pefkari Beach, situated between Potos and Limenaria.
