The Cultural Association of the village of Theologos invites all on Friday, July 31, at 21:00 to celebrate the annual festival of “August Mr August”.

The festival looks back at a time when communities celebrated the changing of the seasons. The end of July each year sees the completion of the grain harvest and the beginning of the new fruit and nut gathering season.

The people of Theologos look forward to welcoming you all to the village square to experience the vibrant rhythm of the locals of Theologos, including the famous spit-roasted meats, especially roast goat/kid, paired with local wine, traditional music and dancing and the ancient tradition of fire jumping.

The mountain village of Theologos is located in the south of the island and is reached by taking the inland road from Limenaria for 14.5 km up to the village.
