The Greek National Meteorological Service has issued an emergency bulletin warning of severe weather from Friday evening into Saturday morning.

Heavy rain, high winds and thunderstorms with high-frequency lightning are predicted for the Northern Aegean, which includes the islands of Thassos, Samothrace and Lemnos.

The severe weather is forecast to affect the whole country.
