International Museum Day is an annual event that celebrates new ways to preserve and deepen our cultural identity and strengthen the role of museums as a vital social pillar of development.

The worldwide events being staged by ICOM, the International Council of Museums, will be held on May 18 and will include free admission to museums across Greece.
